Sublime Terms of Service

Welcome to Sublime, a financial technology service operated by Sublime Payments Company, doing business as Sublime (“Sublime”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application (available on the Apple iOS App Store), products, and services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service. Sublime also reserves the right to change or modify any of the Terms and will notify you upon any updates. 

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. You must also reside in the United States. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and agree not to disclose them to any third party. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Description of the Service

Sublime is a financial technology platform designed to help users manage, pay for, and save money on their recurring subscriptions and bills. The Service allows users to:

  • Connect their bank and card accounts using Plaid Inc.;

  • Link and pay for existing subscription services using the Sublime payment method;

  • Earn credits and rewards upon successful subscription payments;

  • Apply those credits to future payments for eligible, previously linked subscription services.

3. Use of Third-Party Services

To provide core functionality, Sublime uses Plaid Inc. to connect to your financial accounts. By using the Service, you authorize Sublime to share your information with Plaid and acknowledge that your information will be treated in accordance with Plaid’s privacy policy, available at: https://plaid.com/legal.

4. Rewards and Credits

Sublime may offer credits or other rewards to users based on their subscription activity. Credits are:

  • Earned after successful subscription payments through the Sublime service;

  • Non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned, or redeemed for cash;

  • Redeemable only for future payments toward eligible, existing subscriptions linked in the Sublime platform;

  • Subject to expiration, modification, or cancellation at Sublime’s sole discretion.

Sublime makes no guarantees regarding the value, availability, or redemption of credits. We may modify or discontinue the rewards or credits program at any time without notice or liability to you.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;

  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;

  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service or any servers or networks used to make the Service available;

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation in connection with your use of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on the Service, including the Sublime name, logo, software, and design, are the property of Sublime or its licensors and are protected under intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Service without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Sublime does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any information provided is accurate, complete, or current.

Sublime is not responsible for the actions or inactions of third parties, including subscription providers or financial institutions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sublime shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.

In no event shall Sublime’s total liability to you for all claims exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease, including access to any unused credits.

10. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We may update or change the Service or these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
